In order to add the desktop app to your PC, you will need your Contract ID and Install Key, along with administrative credentials for your PC. Once you have that information, the rest is easy! EyeMD EMR already knows who you are, and knows how to connect to your system, no matter what kind of hosting option your practice chooses! Our Fog Technology doesn't require old technology like Remote Desktop or Citrix. For the best possible experience and highest level of security, ditch it!

If you don't have the required keys, please have your practice administrator or super user reach out to Customer Service. Our reps cannot provide this information to just anyone! We will perform a security screening and can only electronically send this information to destinations we already have on file. We want to make sure this information doesn't fall into the wrong hands! Keep it secure and don't share it with anyone! Messed up? No problem, we can easily change your keys. Just give us a call!

If you are hosting your own server and are having issues connecting to it from home or another office, your IT might have to configure your router to allow external connections. Please have your IT contact technical support to get this setup. It should only take a few mins to configure your router for this.
